At the beginning of August, we'll be driving between Glacier and Mt Rainier for two days. During this short time we would like to visit the Kootenai falls and The Palouse but only one of the area wildlife refuges. So, should it be Kootenai or Turnbull? Where do we have more chances for wildlife encounters and diversity in this season? where are the chances of meeting Bluebirds bigger? Thank you!

Was this 2 hours ride around the ponds within the National wildlife refuge or around Bonners Ferry where the river is the Kootenai river? maybe to the Katka overlook?
