Make sure you get there about 30 minutes before it opens. Then you will be able to get a good spot. If it is an act where they have the tables and seats set up, this is essential. A tip, avoid front couple of rows of seats as the rest of the crowd will stand in front of you during the set and you will see nothing but a see of backs.
