New Manchester City midfielder Nico Gonzalez says it was "so easy" to join the club as working with Pep Guardiola can help him reach his "full potential". The 23-year-old was a £50m arrival from Porto on transfer deadline day and became City's fourth signing of the January window.

Manchester City have secured the signing of midfielder Nico Gonzalez from Porto for a fee of €60 million (£49.9m/$62.1m). Gonzalez has signed a four-and-a-half-year contract and is City’s fourth signing of the window following the arrivals of Omar Marmoush, Abdukodir Khusanov and Vitor Reis.
