Kevin O'Connell was named the NFL's Coach of the Year after leading the Minnesota Vikings to a 14-3 mark in his third season at the helm.

O’Connell topped runner-up Dan Campbell (Lions), third-place finisher Andy Reid (Chiefs), fourth-place finisher Sean Payton (Denver Broncos) and fifth-place finisher Dan Quinn (Washington Commanders) for the award. O’Connell received 25 of the 50 first-place votes and finished no lower than third on a ballot.

After leading the Vikings to a surprise 14-3 record, O’Connell has officially been named NFL Coach of the Year. He accepted the award alongside his wife Leah on Thursday night at “NFL Honors” in New Orleans.

Ben Johnson has been the Chicago Bears head coach for a couple of weeks, but he's still earning awards for his time with the Detroit Lions. On Thursday at the 14th Annual NFL Honors, Johnson won the 2024 Associated Press Assistant Coach of the Year award.
