Don’t be fooled by what you see in the headlines — physical media is on the rise. Sure, we’re never going to experience another time like the video store era of the ’80s and ’90s, but there’s better and more work being put into physical media right now than we’ve seen in quite a while.

The Lion King is heading for a home release this month as the film announces its digital and physical release dates, just over a month after it hit theaters. The film which features the voices of Aaron Pierre and Kelvin Harrison Jr.
