Daniel Penny, the Long Island native and Marine vet acquitted for the manslaughter of a homeless man on a New York City subway train last year, has landed a job at a $45 billion venture capital firm.

Marine veteran Daniel Penny, who was found not guilty in the death of Jordan Neely in a New York City subway, has a new job with Silicon Valley investment firm Andreessen Horowitz.

Mr. Penny, who was acquitted after choking a mentally ill subway passenger to death, was hired to join the firm’s American Dynamism investment team.

Marc Andreessen backed the Republican ticket in the presidential election, and Vice President JD Vance cheered the news of the hire.
