A winter storm is on the way, bringing snow, sleet and freezing rain to the Delaware Valley over the course of just a few hours on Thursday.

A Winter Weather Advisory went into effect for the Philadelphia region at 11 p.m. on Wednesday. Drivers are advised to be careful as sleet and freezing rain continue throughout the morning commute, mostly north and west of the city. The greatest impacts are expected northwest of I-95.

The Philadelphia region's next weather maker will likely affect the roads Thursday morning as rain, snow, freezing rain and sleet will hit the area.
