As IIRC put in Lois and Clark, Clark Kent is who he is, Superman is what he can do. Even if he didn't have the powers he'd still be doing whatever he could.

Who he is from a child then there’s Superman. Superman returns showed this. Around his mom he’s normal Clark Kent, then he puts on the other Clark disguise for the daily bugle.

2023年3月11日 · I just want to say that the idea of a conflicted Pa Kent worried about his son helping others and turning the whole world against Clark is a good concept.But the movie doesn't execute that properly and Pa Kent's death is hilarious it's like the movie goes such a long way to be different from 1978's Johnattan and it ends up being worse and convoluted.But that's kind of a thing with Snyder.

He's clearly the inverse of Jor-El who believes that Earth will embrace him and become like a God to lead them.
