2020年4月29日 · I think the quality of education is going to be better at TUM. TUM is also more international-minded and seems to have better connections to industry and technical foreign universities. It is also a "target-university" in some sense. Abroad most people know TUM, no ones knows LMU. LMU is much more forgiving in terms of academic achievement.

If you are particularly interested in the technical / computer science area, I would go to TUM. But remember, quality in rankings and research does not correspond to the quality of teaching.

2020年8月5日 · Next, LMU is located in the heart of Munich close to the English garden. It has great infrastructure around. TUM, on the other hand, is in Garching, approx. 1 h by subway from the center of Munich. Everything is closed in the evening on the campus, so there is not much to do, but to study or go to Munich.
