2020年7月4日 · Fire. It has some of the best episodes like The Day of Black Sun and The Southern Raiders. It has the best action and visuals of the series and it also has some of the series best moments like The Last Agni Kai and Zuko and Iroh’s reunion. Not to mention it has arguably one of the best finales of all time.

I have some encodes on my profile if you want to take it for a spin. Personally, I'd say if you have the DVD's, the only improvement that would be worth it is not having the halo-ing issue on the first few episodes of season 1.

In Japan, all animated television is Anime. So, yes, by definition, Avatar is an anime. The stupid gatekeeping, nit-picking bs about western nerds trying to make a distinction between eastern and western animation is, was, and always will be completely ridiculous. There is no difference, and if you think there is, the people whose language the word comes from disagrees with you.
