2024年5月25日 · I really like the cast iron table top (many are HDF or similar). A sturdy flat table imperative. Cast iron top lets you use Magswitch featherboards (the best). I keep my router table against a wall. For smaller workpieces that is fine, but for bigger workpieces I roll it away from the wall for clearance. Castors would be helpful.

My table saw is a General International 1.5hp contractor style saw with no riving knife, so I'll be making zero clearance inserts and adding micro jig splitters to them. Now, I already have a 1/8" MJ splitter, but I'm considering switching to a thin kerf blade.

2018年2月9日 · Given their ability to be adjusted above the table, and one wrench bit changes above the table, they sound good. Whatever I do, I need a router that can be adjusted up and down. The one I have, a Kobalt, has a crap adjustment feature that will often drop the router about 1/4" just when you are getting close to having it right.

Re: Height adjust for Hitachi M12VE Router mounted in a router table I have an M12V installed in a table using a router raizer which allows above table adjustments. Not as fancy as the big $$$ fancy adjusters but is is less than $100. Only slight modifications to the router and it is still useable out of the table.
