Selective majors include all majors in the Professional colleges along with the College of Engineering. UCLA has a 4 year housing guarantee if the student meets the priority deadlines.

The fact is that UCLA has generally less traffic than USC during the day and the neighborhood around UCLA is much more upscale and safe. USC’s campus is all brick with cardinal red and gold everywhere.
