As families gather today across the United States, we are thinking of our Operation Smile family, which includes generous donors, committed volunteers, dedicated parents and grandparents, and resilient patients. One sweet patient is Dilan from Guatemala. When his mother, Sandy, realized Dilan was born with a cleft condition, she sought out care and never gave up hope. Dilan received surgery when he was 2 years old. When Dilan was 3 years old, we caught up with him and his mom. We hope that this
